Squirrel Class
Welcome to Squirrel Class!
We are a small mixed class of Reception and Year One children. Our teacher is Mrs Cooper and our teaching assistant is Mrs Langran. We also work with Mrs Moorey-Brown who supports specific children within our class.
We love learning through play and choosing our own activities that excite and interest us. We can select from a range of resources inside such as clay, sewing and painting. We can also play outside if we choose to and love building, role play and chasing games!
This term our class book has been 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt 'by Michael Rosen. We have been retelling the story, using descriptive language to describe all the things the family encounter throughout their adventure and we have even been on our own bear hunt across the surrounding countryside! We learnt about real bears and have written our own information books.
