Hedgehog Class
Welcome to the Hedgehog class!
We are a mixed year group class of year 1 and year 2 children. Our classroom is an environment that the children feel comfortable in so they can be themselves and express their opinions and ideas, learn effectively and have fun!
Mr Alliston is our teacher and our teaching assistants are Mrs Honour and Mr Mat.
Each term has a different topic and focus. A curriculum overview for each term will be uploaded to this page throughout the year.
In term 1, year 1 children will have weekly sessions of Forest School with Natalia Figa and in term 4, year 2 children will have Forest School which will be great fun! Natalia is a fantastic Forest School lead, creating inspiring and creative sessions every week.
There will be lots of additional activities, events and trips as the year goes on, supporting the curriculum learning and enhancing life experiences and skills.
