We celebrated world book day by wearing our pyjamas and sharing our favorite bedtime stories. In the morning, we took part in a poetry workshop, where we took inspiration from poet Joseph Cohelo - we watched some videos of him explaining why poetry is so fantastic, where he gets his inspiration from and he read one of his poems to us. Then, we used his idea of being inspired by nature to go up to the Churchyard and take photographs of the things around us. Back at school, we turned these ideas into poems and created a class anthology. In the afternoon, we took part in a ‘hunt the sheep’ competition, to try and win a prize!
