Welcome to Willow Class. We are a class of 28 and our teacher is Mrs Dyer. We also have 3 lovely teaching assistants Mrs Duffy, Mrs Sparrow and Mr Ellen who help us with our learning. We are year 3 and 4 and so are right in the middle of the school. We enjoy fun and interactive learning tasks. Mrs Dyer tends to give updates on what the children have been up to so you may see some posts on here. We also have useful information below such as weekly spelling lists and what clubs are on during the week. The information is listed below at the bottom of the page.
Wow! I can't believe how quickly the term is flying away! With only two weeks left, I thought I would showcase some of the highlights of the last two weeks.
Visit from Caroline Drew (Herbalist) from Chartwell Apothecary in Westerham. We learned all about how plants can be used as medicine as well as food. We tasted some herbal teas and cough syrups. I think it's fair to say that we now know how to heal ourselves from using God's gift of plants.
We also had a brilliant day on Monday 8th, where author Grant Koper came to visit us. He read his amazing book The Day Granny's Knickers Blew Away .
It inspired us to write our very own class book:
It features some familiar faces around school! Please pop in and ask to have a read. I think it's going to be a best seller at Waterstones in my humble opinion!
We have had so much fun this term, it really is hard to showcase all the great things happening. I hope you are all having as much fun as I am! :)
