KS2 were invited to take part in a triathlon taster day at Hever Castle. This was a great day; it included a tour of the castle, archery and a tudor writing workshop in the morning, and then the chance to have a go at each triathlon event in the afternoon. The children were brilliant - even being brave enough to swim in the lake!
Year 6 attended a Science Fayre at Dartford Girl's Grammar School. They had the chance to investigate lots of different scientific equipment and carry out experiements, learning an awful lot whilst they were there. Have a look at the photographs to see some of the things they did.
Year 6 joined other local schools for the Church School's festival. They travelled to St. Stephen's church, in Tonbridge, where they spent the day thinking about 'challenging poverty'. They took part in a number of workshops, before joining in with a service, where they led one of the prayer sections. They were brilliantly well behaved and gave some very thoughtful responses. Well done Year 6!
We visited the History troupe's 'One way expereince'; a sensory journey thorugh the life of Jesus. This helped us to understand his life and experiences better, right from his humble birth, to his death and resurrection.
