Parent and Pupil Feedback Page

You told us that you were unsure about what your children needed to do to improve their learning...

so we introduced a new system of children's targets which are brought home in bookbags.

You told us that you felt that consistently well-behaved children did not always receive the recognition they deserved...

so we introduced our 'Always Green' awards.

You told us that you found Parents' Evenings difficult because finding childcare was a challenge...

so we organised children's activities in the school hall to entertain your children while you talked to the teachers.

You told us that you wanted the children to have more access to 'green space' for P.E. and for there to be more sports clubs available...

so we organised to use the field at 'The Dairy' for P.E. and for the creation of Tennis, Multi Sports, Cricket, Athletics and Golf Clubs.

Children told us that they were concerned that the button to the school gate, lowered to comply with disability criteria, might allow young children to let in strangers...

so we raised the button out of reach of our younger children.

Children told us that they enjoyed using ICT in other subjects such as English and Science...

so we budgeted for new laptops with tablet capability, which are robust enough to be used both in the classroom and outside.

Children told us that they didn't like the toilets because they smelt and were too dark...

so we built new toilets which are bright, clean and pleasant to use.

Children told us that they wanted more playtime equipment...

so we provided a climbing wall, new balls, skipping ropes, french elastics, hoops and stilts.
