Looking at adapting to habitats.

As part of our Wriggle and Crawl topic this term we looked at how animals adapt to their environment. We looked at penguins and how they survive in the Antarctica. Th children acted out how the penguins huddle together and swap position in the middle to keep warm. They also learnt that both the dad and mum look after the chick in their pouch and that if they are left on their own for 2 minutes they can freeze.
