Dens and Dandelions

Our topic for the last term of this academic year is Dens and Dandelions. To kick this off Mr Gaind, with the kind help of Mrs Day, took the children to a wooded area opposite the school to explore. The topic looks at woodlands and the environment and so the children learnt a lot of what you find in this habitat. We built a Den which the children thoroughly enjoyed. We have now got lots of ideas and inspiration to use in the topic in the term ahead. Here are some photos of the afternoon.
