Our final day at Hindleap came all too quickly! After packing our suitcases and clearing our rooms, we headed to breakfast, and then off to our final activities. We started with high ropes, where we had the choice of: 'The leap of faith' or a high wires challenge. Elm class were really encouraging of one another and supported their peers in trials and successes. Even Mrs. Duffy braved the leap of faith!
After this, we split into two teams and took part in a team challenge. There were various obstacles to navigate and puzzles to solve. This was an opportunity to put our teamwork skills into practice - the children learnt very quickly that if they didn't listen to one another and discuss what they were doing, they would not be very successful.
After this, we enjoyed lunch and then had an awards ceremony, where each child was presented with a certificate in recognition of their achievements over the period of our stay. All the children were sad to leave Hindleap, as they had had such a brilliant time, but I think they were also glad not to be muddy any more!
