Christmas 2016

Our Christmas play this year was called: The woodcutter and the dove. It told the Christams story with the addition of a special dove named silver and a kind old woodcutter, who made a cradle for baby Jesus. Elm class all acted and sung beautifully, as did everyone else!

We had Rev. Pam come in to celebration worship to tell us all about the Christingle. This is a special service that happens at Christmas time, where an orange is used to represent lots of different elements to show God's love for us. We then helped to make the Christingles that would be used in the service at St Mary's. Y6 did a great job helping their buddies to do this too.
